All U.S. guests receive their free Medallion device either in the mail before leaving home or when they arrive at the terminal. International guests can pick up their Medallion device at the port. This quarter-sized device can be worn several ways.

To obtain a Princess Medallion, you must first download the Princess Cruises app and complete the "OceanReady" steps, which include entering your travel documents, payment information, and security photo. If you are a resident of the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico, you can choose to have your Medallion shipped directly to your home for a small fee, provided you order it at least 13 days before your sail date. For international guests or those who prefer not to have it mailed, the Medallion will be waiting for you at the cruise terminal on embarkation day. Once you have it, you can customize it with various accessories like clips, bracelets, or necklaces, though the basic lanyard is provided for free. The device serves as your room key, payment method, and GPS locator to help crew members find you anywhere on the ship to deliver drinks or snacks.
