How do you get on the lift in Duomo?

The ticket office is opposite the cathedral, on the right hand side (entry to the roof is on the left hand side). There is a roof-only ticket (€10 for the stairs, €14 for the lift). They have changed the ticketing system recently so that you now have to choose an entry time when you buy your ticket.

Dress code When visiting, you are advised to dress modestly because it is a place of worship. Bare-backed and/or low-cut clothing, miniskirts, shorts, and hats are not allowed inside the Duomo Milan. Wear comfortable shoes due to the nature of the paths and the stair-climbing involved.
