How do you get the green lane Princess?

You'll want to complete the following steps to ensure access to the Green Lane in the terminal for faster check-in with less waiting:
  1. Order and Customize your Medallion*
  2. Personal Info & Travel Docs.
  3. MedallionPay™
  4. Passage Contract & Acknowledgements**
  5. Security & Profile Photos.
  6. Emergency Information.

To achieve Green Lane status with Princess Cruises in 2026, you must complete the "OceanReady" steps in the Princess Cruises App at least 13 days prior to your sailing. The Green Lane is the most expedited boarding tier, allowing you to bypass longer lines at the terminal. To qualify, you must upload your security photo, enter your passport and emergency contact details, provide a valid payment method for onboard spending, and sign the passage contract. Crucially, you must also have your Medallion device shipped to your home (available for residents of the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico). If you choose to pick up your Medallion at the port instead, you will be assigned to the Blue Lane, which is still efficient but involves an extra step at the terminal. Once you have a "Green" status in the app, you simply show your QR code and walk through the dedicated lane, which can reduce the check-in process to just a few minutes of "tap-and-go" ease.

The updated OceanReady procedures classify guests into three categories: the green lane, the blue lane, and the accessibility lane. The green lane offers the fastest embarkation for guests who had their medallions shipped and completed their travel checklists.
