How do you ride Tron early?

You can only obtain one Virtual Queue spot per day. If you are unable to snag a Virtual Queue spot, you have the option to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for Tron Lightcycle / Run starting at 7:00 AM.

To ride TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom as early as possible, your best strategy in 2026 is to utilize "Rope Drop" during Early Theme Park Entry. This benefit is available to guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, allowing them to enter the park 30 minutes before the general public. You should head directly to Tomorrowland and line up at the attraction's entrance; since the ride does not use a virtual queue anymore, being there first thing in the morning is the only way to ride without a long wait or a fee. Alternatively, you can purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass as soon as your booking window opens (7 days in advance for resort guests). This allows you to select an early morning time slot, ensuring you get on the ride quickly. Another "early" option is to keep an eye out for Disney After Hours events, which are separate ticketed events where the park stays open late with limited crowds; while not technically "early" in the day, it is one of the quickest ways to access the ride with almost no wait. Note that the ride vehicles are unique, so trying the test seat outside the entrance is recommended before you commit to the queue.
