How do you use an e gate at the airport?

The e-gates require the use of a biometric passport. On arrival and departure, the e-gates can be used by European Union, European Economic Area and Swiss citizens aged 16 and over. For non-EU citizens, the passports will be manually stamped by a border official after using the gates.
