How does Disney PhotoPass Plus work?

You can get digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos, attraction photos and dining photos from 7 consecutive days, for one price, with Disney PhotoPass+ One Week. Magic Shots and Animated Magic Shots captured during those days are also included!

Disney PhotoPass Plus (often referred to as Memory Maker in the U.S. parks) is a digital service that allows you to capture and download all the professional photos taken of you throughout the Disney parks. When you meet a character, use a designated photo spot, or ride a major attraction (like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind), a Disney photographer or an automated camera captures the moment. These photos are linked to your account via your MagicBand+, park ticket, or the mobile app's "MagicMobile" pass. In 2026, the service includes high-definition digital downloads of every photo, "Magic Shots" (where characters like Stitch are added to your photo digitally), and even slow-motion "Video Memories" from certain attractions. A high-value strategy is to pre-purchase the service at least three days before your trip for a significant discount (usually $169 vs. $199). Once activated, everyone on your "Family & Friends" list in the app can contribute photos to your shared gallery, ensuring that every member of the group gets included in the professional vacation shots.
