As of early 2026, Disney's park reservation policy depends heavily on your ticket type. For date-based tickets, which make up the majority of standard 1-day to 10-day passes, reservations are no longer required at Walt Disney World, meaning you can change your mind about which park to visit up until the moment you scan your ticket at the gate. However, for Annual Passholders and those with "non-dated" tickets, reservations are still required for most days. You can typically modify or cancel these reservations via the My Disney Experience app up until the day of your visit, provided there is availability at the new park you wish to enter. For Annual Passholders, "Good-to-Go Days" allow entry without a reservation, and most passholders can "Park Hop" to any other park after 2:00 PM (except at Magic Kingdom on weekends) regardless of their initial reservation. Always check the live availability calendar, as popular dates like Christmas or New Year's can still sell out completely.
