How long does it take for Disney photos to link?

You will typically see PhotoPass pictures show up in your My Disney Experience account within an hour or so after they're taken.

Disney PhotoPass photos typically link to your account and become available in the My Disney Experience app within 24 hours of being taken. While many photos—especially those taken at iconic spots like Cinderella Castle—may appear within minutes or a few hours, system delays can occur during high-traffic periods. On-ride photos and videos (like those on Guardians of the Galaxy or Space Mountain) usually link automatically via your MagicBand+ or mobile device's Bluetooth, but these can occasionally take the full day to process. If your photos do not appear after 24 hours, you can use the "Missing Photos" tool on the Disney website or visit a PhotoPass center in the parks. In 2026, photos are stored for 45 days from the date they were taken before they expire, so it is important to link and download them within that window. If you purchased "Memory Maker" at a discount, remember that photos taken within the first three days of purchase may not be included in your entitlement and must be handled separately.
