How long does it take for Marriott points to show up?

Provided that the correct Marriott Bonvoy® Member Number is added as part of the booking process, Points will automatically appear in your Marriott Bonvoy® Account within six (6) weeks following the completion of your Stay.

In 2026, Marriott Bonvoy points typically post to your account within 5 to 10 business days after you check out from a stay. For most standard hotel stays, you will see the points reflected in your balance by the end of the week following your departure. However, points earned through Marriott's travel partners (like Uber or Hertz) can take significantly longer, sometimes up to 6 to 8 weeks. If you have recently applied for a Marriott credit card, initial sign-up bonuses usually post 8 to 12 weeks after meeting the spend requirement. If your points haven't appeared after 10 days, you can submit a "Missing Stay" request through the Marriott website or app, provided you have your folio (receipt) handy. Note that promotional bonus points from Q1/Q2 2026 offers may have their own specific posting timelines outlined in the promotion's terms.
