Can you ride the Skyliner for free?

Once you are on Disney Property, transportation is complimentary on buses, monorails, boats, and of course the Disney Skyliner. If staying on property, feel free to hop on transportation and make any needed transfers to get to a resort on the Skyliner route to start your adventure.

Sure can! While these aerial gondolas can be an easy way to get to and from Epcot, Hollywood Studios and the Disney Skyliner resorts, you don't need to be a hotel guest or even be going to the theme parks to give this transportation offering a try.

So no, the Disney Skyliner route to get from EPCOT to Disney's Hollywood Studios is not a direct one, but it is still very convenient. Here are the basics; Exit EPCOT via the International Gateway, between the England and France Pavilions.

This transportation system might have a temporary closure in early 2024. Disney hasn't made any announcements yet, but we saw refurbishment closures in both 2022 and 2023. In 2022, the Skyliner was closed from January 23rd through January 28th, and in 2023 it was closed from January 22nd through the 29th.
