Once the boat leaves the Wilderness Lodge, it's roughly a ten-minute ride to the entrance of Magic Kingdom. It's a relaxing ride, and you get some unique views as you travel through narrow channels, past the Contemporary Resort, and under the monorail track on your way across the lake to the theme park.

ROOMS AT DISNEY'S WILDERNESS LODGEDuring our stay, we stay in Room 6046 – a Fireworks View Room. Our view off the balcony saw a small lake in front of the Cabins and off over the tree line a beautiful, unobstructed view of Cinderella's Castle, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter and the Contemporary Resort.
You can take the Watercraft service from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom Park, then transfer to another boat that will take you to Fort Wilderness. Although you have to transfer, you will get extra time cruising around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon while being out on the open water.
