How many bags per person on Disney Cruise?

Disney Cruise Line's luggage allowance affords each Guest two (2) suitcases, one (1) carry-on each measuring no greater than 14 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 22 inches in height, as well as one (1) personal bag.

Disney Cruise Line is quite generous compared to airlines, allowing each guest to bring two checked suitcases, one carry-on bag, and one personal item (like a purse or small backpack). Each checked bag must not exceed 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg). You will receive specialized luggage tags in the mail before your sailing; these are critical because porters will take your checked bags at the terminal and deliver them directly to your stateroom later in the afternoon. Note that your carry-on must not exceed 22" x 14" x 9" so it can fit through the X-ray scanners at the port. It is a "pro tip" to pack a day bag with swimwear, sunscreen, and medications, as it can take several hours for your checked luggage to arrive at your room while you are already enjoying the ship’s pools and lunch buffets.

The best news about packing is that there is no (reasonable) limit on how much you can bring on a cruise. Most cruise lines “encourage” or “suggest” each passenger to limit luggage to two suitcases, each one less than 50 pounds. In addition, you can also bring carry-on luggage (more on that in a moment).
