The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are officially considered one-bedroom suites, though their layout is designed to maximize sleeping capacity for up to six adults. The separate bedroom typically contains one queen-size bed and a twin-size bunk bed (two beds total). In the main living area, there is a pull-out queen-size sleeper sofa. This "semi-private" arrangement allows a family to have a distinct sleeping area for the kids while maintaining a common space for dining and relaxation. In 2024, many of these cabins were replaced with new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) cabins, which maintain a similar one-bedroom footprint but feature much more modern, "forest-chic" decor and updated kitchen appliances. Each cabin also features a private deck and a full kitchen, making them a popular choice for larger families who want a bit more space and the ability to cook their own meals while staying immersed in the rustic, wooded atmosphere of the 750-acre resort.
