Port Canaveral currently operates seven state-of-the-art cruise terminals, designed to accommodate some of the largest cruise ships in the world. These terminals are divided between the North Cargo Area (terminals 5, 6, 8, and 10) and the South Cargo Area (terminals 1, 2, and 3). Terminal 3, known as the "Launch Pad," is one of the newest and most advanced, famously serving as the homeport for Carnival Cruise Line's Mardi Gras. Terminal 8 is dedicated specifically to Disney Cruise Line, while other terminals frequently host major ships from Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and MSC Cruises. Because the port is a major global hub, there are ongoing discussions regarding further expansions and renovations to handle the increasing volume of passengers, but as of 2026, the count stands at seven functional passenger terminals.
