You could easily do three nights in Billund, which would give you two full days at LEGOLAND and time to see other things, but it all depends on how much time you have and what else you want to do in Denmark.

If you're staying a week, i would definitely go 2 days to Legoland as there is not much else that's really interesting. Apart from Lego house that is! We did 1 day park, 1 day house, 1 day park last visit and it really worked for us.

It can be experienced in one day but you will be rushing around to get on all the rides. You will also have to plan to eat at the Legoland since if you leave the park you cannot come back. We also felt the park felt fresher and better maintained than Windsor, despite being older. I am not sure we would feel two days in Windsor worthwhile, but I would certainly recommend two in Billund. If you are a Lego fan who fancies a change, I would thoroughly recommend heading to Legoland Billund.
