On a Disney Cruise Line (DCL) voyage, each guest is technically allowed to bring two pieces of checked luggage plus one carry-on bag and one personal item. However, unlike airlines, DCL is generally quite flexible with this "two-bag" suggestion, provided the luggage can fit within your stateroom. It is important to note that stateroom storage is limited; while suitcases can usually be tucked under the bed (which is elevated for this purpose), bringing more than two large bags per person can make the cabin feel very cramped. Your checked luggage will be taken by porters at the terminal and delivered directly to your door, so you must ensure each bag has the official Disney Cruise Line luggage tag attached. Additionally, your carry-on bag must be small enough to fit through a standard X-ray machine (similar to airport security, roughly 9" x 14" x 22"). It is highly recommended to pack a day bag with swimwear, medications, and travel documents, as your checked suitcases may not arrive at your room until several hours after you board the ship.
