How much is parking at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta?

Where do we park? We have general parking lots on the north and south ends of the park, it is $20 for each session you are at the park. Each parking lot is color-coded and the gates are numbered, so please remember the color and number of the gate through which you entered the field.

For the 2025 and 2026 seasons, general parking at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Park is $20 per car per session. It is crucial to remember that the Balloon Fiesta operates in "sessions"—a morning session and an evening session—meaning if you leave and return for the night glow, you will be required to pay the $20 fee again. One of the most important logistical tips for this event is that parking is cash only; the attendants do not accept credit or debit cards, and being unprepared can lead to significant delays in the notoriously heavy traffic surrounding the park. For those looking to avoid the $20 fee and the gridlock, the city offers a "Park & Ride" service from various locations around Albuquerque, which includes both transportation and event admission in one ticket price. Handicapped (ADA) parking is available for the same $20 fee and is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early (often before 4:30 AM for morning sessions) is highly recommended.
