How much time do you need at the Atlantis Aquarium?
Yes definitely u can visit both in one day itself. I would say that, aquarium will not take more than an hour whereas, aquapark would take more 5-6 hrs and if you enjoy water rides, you would repeat few rides and that would take even more time.

Duration of the Visit: You must reserve at least 4-5 hours to enjoy to the core at Atlantis Aquaventure Water park. Since the water park is so huge and there are umpteen attractions, you'll need a lot of time to enjoy and experience everything over here.
However, it will take you a full day to enjoy everything at the water park. So if you also are hoping to enjoy some relaxing beach time or participate in any of the dolphin encounter programs (definitely one of the best Atlantis activities), then staying a night or two at the resort is definitely worthwhile.
The beauty of the space, the diversity of the marine life, and the interactive exhibits, makes for a thrilling and fascinating experience that both adults and children will never forget. Compare to other aquarium, of course it is not the best. But the atmosphere is magical, I love the idea of lost chamber and Atlantis.

Atlantis doesn't do “free” well, so by “free” I really mean, you can enter for free, but it's assumed you'll spend money while you are there. Don't expect to access much of the property. Without a Day Pass, you'll likely not be able to get past security to see much of the resort.
During the daytime, the aquarium is $45 for adults, Children under 4 are free. The aquarium is not manned by security after 7pm.. not meant to be free to outsiders, but security isn't usually in place, so people just wander thru. It's dimly lit and there are no tours after 5.

If you aren't staying at the Atlantis Resort, but you want to explore all that it has to offer, it is definitely worth it. Since I was staying at the resort, I didn't have to purchase one. I can honestly say that I enjoyed all that Atlantis has to offer and it was definitely worth it!
