How often are rooms cleaned at Disney?

During Your Stay Rooms at Disney Moderate and Disney Value Resorts will receive housekeeping service every other day. Rooms at Disney Deluxe Resorts will receive daily full housekeeping service.

In 2026, the frequency of housekeeping at Walt Disney World hotels depends on the category of your resort. Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas receive daily housekeeping service, which includes making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing towels and toiletries. For those at Disney Moderate and Disney Value Resorts, housekeeping is typically provided every other day. If you are a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member staying on points, you receive a more limited "Trash and Towel" service on the fourth day of your stay, with a full cleaning on the eighth day. Regardless of the resort level, guests can always request additional towels or coffee supplies by calling the front desk from their in-room phone. Disney has also maintained a "Room Occupied" sign policy; while you can decline service for privacy, Disney security reserves the right to perform a brief visual inspection of every room daily for safety reasons. This hybrid approach allows for guest flexibility while ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and security are maintained throughout the resort.
