How old is the racer at Kings Island?

The Racer opened officially to the public at Kings Island's grand opening on April 28, 1972. It is located in Coney Mall, a section of the park originally known as Coney Island.

Grand Carousel Family Ride at Kings Island Kings Island's magnificent carousel was manufactured by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, Philadelphia, Pa., in 1926 and is the oldest ride in the park. It is one of approximately 90 carousels built by the company from 1904 to 1934.

If you don't like the dark, jump scares, loud noises, drop towers or rides designed to cause you pain then this is not the ride for you. The drop tower element is pretty lame but the theming works so well to create anxiety from nothing really. You'll find yourself scared throughout but coming out underwhelmed.
