How scary is the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride?

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout ride is designed to give you a jolt of excitement, a burst of adrenaline, and a dose of Marvel's unique charm. Yes, it's a bit scary. Yes, it's intense. But it's also incredibly fun and exciting.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT is considered a "high-thrill" but very smooth experience. Unlike traditional coasters with massive, stomach-churning drops, the intensity here comes from its backward launch and its "Omnicoaster" technology, where the ride vehicles rotate 360 degrees to point you toward specific story elements. On a "scary" scale, it is a step above Space Mountain due to its speed and darkness, but significantly less intense than Rock 'n' Roller Coaster because it has no inversions (it never goes upside down). The biggest concern for most riders is motion sickness; the combination of rotating cars and large digital screens can be disorienting. If you enjoy fast-paced action and a "party" atmosphere with an 80s soundtrack, it is more "exhilarating" than "scary."
