How to get Disneyland tickets when they are sold out?

Currently, there's no waitlist process for Disneyland reservations. If your preferred reservation date is sold out, you have a few options. Choose an alternate reservation date. The simplest, but probably not the most ideal, option is choosing another date that's available for your visit.

When Disneyland tickets or reservations appear sold out on the official website, the best strategy is to check the reservation calendar frequently, especially late at night or early in the morning. Guests often cancel their plans last minute to avoid "no-show" penalties, causing spots to reappear instantly. Another reliable method is to check authorized third-party resellers (like Get Away Today or Undercover Tourist), as these agencies often hold their own separate inventory of ticket blocks that may still have availability even when Disney's direct supply is exhausted. You can also try booking a Disneyland Resort Hotel package, as these sometimes have a different pool of reservation availability specifically for on-site guests. Finally, keep an eye on "Multi-Day" ticket options; occasionally, a 3-day ticket will show availability for a specific date that a 1-day ticket does not, as the reservation tiers are managed differently for various ticket types.
