How to get Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance Disneyland?
To purchase the Individual Lightning Lane for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, head to your Disneyland app and click on the map. Move over to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge until you see the attraction and click on the tack that shows the wait time for the attraction. Then click on the Lightning Lane LL.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has an individual Lightning Lane available for purchase. Guests of Disney resorts can purchase it at 7AM, while other guests have to wait until the park opens, subject to availability. This is the easiest way to get on the ride, but it comes at a price of about $15 to $25 per person.
Guests of Marriott properties, The Walt Disney World Swan and The Walt Disney World Dolphin, can also take advantage of early Individual Lightning Lane access. Note that you don't need to purchase Genie+ to buy Individual Lightning Lane passes. These two services are entirely separate.
You can only book two Individual Lightning Lanes per day.No matter how many parks you plan to visit in one day, you are only allowed to book two Individual Lightning Lanes. For example, you're planning to start your day in Hollywood Studios, but want to park hop over to Magic Kingdom in the afternoon.
They can't be modified, and you can buy up to two per day, but you can only buy each ride once per day. Generally, Individual Lightning Lanes don't sell out quickly at Disneyland, meaning you'll have some time to wait and see how your day goes before deciding whether or not to buy them.
The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can make a new reservation at most 2 hours from when you made the last one, and this countdown timer doesn't change if you modify the reservation.
With Genie+ Lightning Lanes, guests may not reserve the same ride twice in one day, and there are limits on how frequently you can reserve. If you reserve a Lightning Lane but then do not ride and let it expire, that counts as “using” it.
Wait times are fairly constant–if not slightly increasing–throughout the morning and early afternoon. There's no lunch lull or other sweet spot to target Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. You either want to do it first thing or wait until much later in the day.
If you want the best time to do Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in the first half of the day, line up around 11 am. The posted wait time will still likely be triple digits, but it's typically falling at this point rather than rising.
Underneath that you'll see LL Disney Genie+ Not Currently Offered. This means that all of the available Lightning Lanes have been booked. Now, it is possible that a few will become available as guests' plans change and they cancel Lightning Lanes, but getting one of those takes a lot of luck and pixie dust.
Because of the introduction of Disney Genie+, there are two ways to ride Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland. The first option is to wait in the standby line. We recommend joining the standby queue if you ever see the wait time listed as less than 60 minutes for the best experience.
Rise of the Resistance is also not part of Genie Plus. You can wait in the standby queue or pay for individual lightning lane. The other rides are part of Genie Plus.
Look for Nemo and Dory to the right of the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance no longer uses the virtual queue system.
Can Genie+ sell out? Yes.It can. Although it isn't common, we've seen it happen a few times during busier times of the year (like over the holidays and Spring Break).
If you are the type of traveler who uses a Touring Plan and routinely gets to the park before official opening, you do not need to purchase Individual Lightning Lane. You can only purchase two Individual Lightning Lane passes per day, which is important to remember if you plan to park hop.
