Is there still a virtual queue for Rise of the Resistance Disneyland?

Look for Nemo and Dory to the right of the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance no longer uses the virtual queue system.

As of early 2026, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland (California) does not typically use a virtual queue for daily operations. The ride has transitioned to a standard Standby Line, meaning you can simply walk up and join the queue at any time during the day. However, Disney retains the right to activate the Virtual Queue during exceptionally high-demand periods, such as the opening of a new neighboring attraction or during the peak "Christmas to New Year" window. For those who want to avoid the 90-to-120-minute waits that are common for this "E-Ticket" attraction, the primary method in 2026 is purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane (ILL). This allows you to "buy" a specific return window to bypass the main line. For "Rope Drop" enthusiasts, the "pro-tip" is to head straight to Galaxy's Edge the moment the park opens, as the standby wait is often at its lowest (around 30–45 minutes) during the first hour of park operation before the "Genie+" crowds arrive.
