Is Billund good for kids?

For those not in the know, Billund perhaps isn't the obvious choice for a European city break with kids. But when they realise that Billund is the home of LEGO, well then it all makes sense. Billund has really embraced its LEGO history with LEGOLAND, the LEGO House, and LEGO accommodation.

While kids between 4 and 8 will enjoy the attractions of the Legoredo town, Pirate Land and Knight's Kingdom, Polar Land is suited to slightly older children. As soon as you enter the park, you'll notice Miniland all around your feet with its miniature buildings, trains and boats, all made of Lego.

Both parks are super fun for toddlers. If you are just going with toddlers or young kids and want a chill theme park, head to LEGOLAND. You can easily have a fun LEGOLAND vacation for just 2 or 3 days. If you have more time, Disneyland is really fun for toddlers if you have 3-5 days so you can go at a slower pace.

We also felt the park felt fresher and better maintained than Windsor, despite being older. I am not sure we would feel two days in Windsor worthwhile, but I would certainly recommend two in Billund. If you are a Lego fan who fancies a change, I would thoroughly recommend heading to Legoland Billund.

So you can do LEGOLAND in 1 day, and rush through everything, or 2 days, and take your time. The benefit of taking your time is that you can see the shows, play with the Legos, play on the structures, etc and not feel pressured.
