Is Corona Arch worth it?

This is also a good hike to do if you have a dog and can't hit the National Park trails or you're only visiting for a day and don't want to pay the entrance fees (or wait in line to get in…). Whatever your reason, hiking the Corona Arch trail is absolutely worth it.

Most online estimates suggest that the Corona Arch hike takes about 2 hours on average. We added on a visit to Pinto Arch–more on that below–and took a couple of very long breaks to enjoy the views of each arch. With those caveats, we still exited the trail just under 3 hours after we started.

Scrambling & climbing on the Primitive Trail. Primitive Trail – This alternative route (2.1 mi/3.5 km one-way) to or from Double O Arch is the most difficult segment of the Devils Garden trail system. The obstacles in this segment include difficult route finding, steep slopes, narrow drop-offs, and rock scrambling.

Two days in Arches is ideal though and would give you enough time to explore the Fiery Furnace on the ranger-led hike and do a few more of the longer hikes. One day is really all you need at the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park if you're sticking to the overlooks and shorter trails.
