As of early 2023 and continuing through 2026, Walt Disney World in Florida no longer charges for overnight self-parking at its resort hotels. This was a significant policy reversal, as Disney had previously charged between $15 and $25 per night depending on the "tier" of the resort. This "complimentary parking" benefit applies to all guests staying at one of the on-site Disney-owned and operated hotels. In addition to the free hotel parking, resort guests also receive complimentary standard parking at the four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom) for the duration of their stay. However, if you choose to use the "Valet Parking" service at the Deluxe resorts, there is still a daily fee (currently around $33 per day). At Disneyland Resort in California, however, the policy is different; they still charge for parking at their three on-site hotels (Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian, and Pixar Place Hotel), with fees typically starting at $40 per night for self-parking. For Florida visitors, this "free parking" perk is a major selling point that has been praised by the fan community for reducing the "nickel-and-diming" associated with a Disney vacation.
