Is Disneyland Paris worth it in the rain?

It's worth noting that the majority of attractions at Disneyland Paris are designed to remain accessible even during rainy weather. So, don't hesitate to take advantage of these indoor and covered attractions to stay dry while experiencing magical moments.

A notable “exception” is Tower of Terror, which can (ironically) operate through severe weather. With no lightning, its incredibly rare for heavy rain to shut down a ride for very long, if for no other reason than exceptionally heavy rain usually just can't fall that long.

Here's the good news: Rain can be your biggest advantage during your visit. Since Disneyland is so embedded into our life here in Southern California, a good amount of guests are typically locals. And, locals often stay home during the rain. So, take advantage of lower lines and less crowds.

Yes, ponchos are available for purchase if it happens to be raining at Disneyland to keep us dry in case of a little black rain cloud. The child-size ponchos cost $10, while the adult-size ponchos cost $12. So we can stay dry and comfortable no matter what the weather brings.

Indoor attractions Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, Star Tours and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage are all good bets on a rainy day.

where do you buy them and what are the prices? The rain ponchos? They are available all over the park when it rains and are, IIRC, about 12 euros (it is many years since I bought them as with a big family it makes sense to be prepared-prepared- we take the disposable ones with us).

Guests can purchase ponchos throughout the Disneyland Resort in stores and at kiosk carts, if you don't see them just ask a Cast Member. In fact, typically in rainy weather the crowd level seems to be lower in the parks.

You won't see princesses around the Disneyland entrance or Goofy ambling down the street in the rain. While the pre-planned character meet-and-greets will still be happening, don't plan on seeing characters just walking around. It does take away a little of the magic (probably mostly for ME!)

But if you need to cancel a future theme park reservation, you have until 11:59 PM Pacific time the night before the reservation to cancel it. Then as long as your theme park admission is still valid, you can book another reservation to replace it on an available date for your admission type.

Rain boots make the most amount of sense for a rainy day. But at least in my experience, rain boots aren't comfortable. Especially for all the walking you will be doing for a day wandering around the Park. So instead I suggest a pair of boots that will be able to be worn for more than just the rain.

For example, if it's supposed to rain for 30 minutes, either one will keep you dry. But if it will rain all day long, then a rain poncho might be your best option because they're lighter and more breathable than raincoats and won't make you feel overheated after being wet for hours on end!
