EPCOT's "Harmonious" show has already been replaced. The massive nighttime spectacular, which debuted for Disney World's 50th Anniversary, officially ended its run in early 2023. Following its departure, the giant floating barges (often criticized for obstructing views of the World Showcase lagoon) were dismantled and removed. In 2024, a new permanent show titled "Luminous The Symphony of Us" debuted as the central nighttime experience for EPCOT. Luminous features a combination of fireworks, fountains, lights, and a moving musical score designed to celebrate the commonalities of the human experience. As of 2026, Luminous remains the flagship evening show for the park, typically performing nightly at park close. While Harmonious was technically impressive with its multi-language Disney songs and massive screens, the current show offers a more visually integrated and less obstructive presence in the lagoon during daylight hours.
