Is Disney changing EPCOT?

After years of EPCOT changes, the construction walls will come down by the end of 2023! Over the past couple of years, we've seen major progress with EPCOT's evolution. France expanded with the addition of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Le Cr?perie de Paris in October 2021.

Yes, EPCOT is in a constant state of "becoming" and has several major updates confirmed for 2026. Following the massive multi-year transformation that introduced "Journey of Water" and "World Celebration Gardens," the focus in 2026 has shifted to attraction refurbishments and seasonal refreshes. A highlight is the debut of "Soarin' Across America," a limited-time patriotic update to the flight simulator that celebrates the U.S. 250th anniversary by showcasing iconic American cityscapes and natural wonders. Additionally, the Test Track reimagining (3.0) is expected to be fully operational, drawing inspiration from the original World of Motion. Disney has also hinted at further updates to the Spaceship Earth storyline and technological enhancements within the World Discovery neighborhood. While the "construction walls" of the early 2020s are mostly gone, EPCOT continues to evolve its "CommuniCore" spaces to host more frequent rotating festivals and live entertainment.
