Is Hogwarts castle in Universal Studios real?

Since the entire mountain and castle is fake and houses the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride, I guess you could say it's “full size”. In fact, it is far bigger than most people realize. The only part you can see is the false front. It's not nearly so “castle-like” when viewed from above.

Possibly the most exciting part of the experience was being able to see the Hogwarts castle model (Alnwick Castle was also used). It fills a large room with viewing platforms all the way around it. What is this? The studio is located just outside London and has plenty of car parking.
