Is it better to park at Mickey and Friends or Toy Story parking lot?

Before the security tent reconfiguration, I would've said Toy Story by a mile. Less walking, never have to worry about the lot closing, slightly closer to the 57 freeway where I come from. After the security tent reconfiguration though, gotta go with Mickey and Friends. Can't beat those short security lines.

Make a right on Magic Way. Then make a right into the Pixar Pals structure. Pixar Pals is our favorite place to park in the morning for several reasons. We never encounter a line at the booth, and we usually find parking close to the elevators.

I just placed a call to Star Command, and they confirmed you can walk to the Toy Story Parking Area by foot. You will enter the lot from Harbor Boulevard. In fact, I have done the same, when staying at a Good Neighbor hotel nearby, so I could use the parking shuttle to get to the main entrance of the parks.

There is only ONE public entrance to the Toy Story Parking Lot, and that is off Harbor Blvd near the Convention Center. The entrance on Katella is for access to the Employee (Cast Member) parking lot, and you need a special pass to enter using that gate. The walk is shorter going directly to the Disneyland Resort.
