Its one straight road from Dubai to Abu Dhabi with petrol pumps at every 30 odd kms......so you can take a rest as well on the way if you want. Yes technically without any traffic it should take only 75mts but then you always need to be prepared for the unexpected. So give 2 hrs at least for your drive.
