Parking at Pearl Harbor is limited and may not be available when you arrive. If you are interested in visiting the Battleship Missouri Memorial, the Oklahoma Memorial or the Pacific Aviation Museum, you should take a tour.

This all made sense for us because we wanted to spend the whole day there, but if you only have a couple hours definitely see the USS Arizona. I'm not a history buff, but I could definitely appreciate the solemn sacrifice made on that day and the memorial is absolutely stunning. This is a must see on the island.
Flip flops and sandals are permitted; however, we do encourage visitors to wear close toed shoes, as there is a lot of walking when visiting the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites.
