Is Resorts World smoke free?

Resorts World Las Vegas, a new property on the north Strip, has also banned smoking except for specific parts of the casino floor. It's a growing trend that accelerated when the covid pandemic forced casinos to temporarily ban all smoking to mitigate the spread of the virus.

Smoking policies at Resorts World properties vary significantly by location and local regulations in 2026. Resorts World Las Vegas allows smoking only in designated areas within the casino floor and specialized smoking lounges; however, all hotel rooms, restaurants, and the theater are strictly non-smoking. In contrast, Park MGM remains the only fully smoke-free casino-resort on the Las Vegas Strip. Internationally, Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore is mostly smoke-free, following strict national laws that prohibit smoking in indoor public spaces, including the casino (except in ventilated smoking rooms). Resorts World Genting in Malaysia follows a similar model where smoking is banned in most indoor areas and theme parks but allowed in specific, well-marked smoking zones and certain high-limit gaming areas. Guests are always advised to check their specific hotel's "Non-Smoking Floor" status during booking to ensure a comfortable stay.
