Is Rock n Roller Coaster Scarier Than Tron?

TRON is most similar to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster over at Hollywood Studios, which is also a catapult-launched, indoor coaster. TRON is by far the most intense coaster in the Magic Kingdom, although it doesn't have any loops or inversions.

For most thrill-seekers, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (Disney's Hollywood Studios) is considered scarier and more intense than TRON Lightcycle / Run (Magic Kingdom). Rock 'n' Roller Coaster features three inversions (it goes upside down), a high-speed launch in the dark, and a jerky "old-school" wooden-like vibration. TRON, while faster at its peak launch, is a "bike-style" coaster that is incredibly smooth and does not go upside down. TRON's fear factor comes mostly from its unique leaning-forward seating position and the outdoor "canopy" section, but in terms of G-forces and physical intensity, the inversions and pitch-black environment of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster make it the more intimidating experience for those sensitive to intense maneuvers.
