Can I take my phone on Tron?

"All items must be placed either in a locker before you board your Lightcycle, or in a small compartment located on the attraction vehicle that can hold items such as cellphones, glasses or wallets," according to Disney Parks Blog. Here's a TRON tip: keep your phone with you and enable Bluetooth.

Yes, you can take your phone on TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, but you cannot hold it in your hand during the ride. Unlike most Disney attractions, TRON features a unique storage system. For larger items like backpacks and purses, there are complimentary double-sided lockers mid-queue that you open with your MagicBand or ticket card. However, for smaller items like a smartphone, sunglasses, or a slim wallet, there is a small, secure compartment built directly into the ride vehicle between the handlebars. This compartment is specifically designed to keep your phone safe during the high-speed 59 mph launch and sharp turns. Once you are locked into the "cycle" position, the compartment lid is secured, ensuring your device doesn't fly out. Just remember to retrieve your phone from the bike before you head toward the locker exit area to reclaim your larger bags.
