Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts at Universal Studios Orlando is generally considered a "thrilling" family coaster rather than a "scary" one. It is a multi-dimensional 3D motion-based steel coaster that blends physical sets with high-definition projections. The "scariest" part for many is the initial "tilt-and-drop" at the very beginning of the ride, which is approximately 30 feet, but the drop is over very quickly. The rest of the ride involves spinning, sudden accelerations, and simulated "near-misses" with villains like Bellatrix Lestrange and Voldemort. If you can handle rides like Rise of the Resistance or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you will likely be fine on Gringotts. For those who are hesitant, the ride vehicle has "test seats" at the entrance, and the queue itself is an incredible experience filled with animatronic goblins; if you decide not to ride at the last second, you can use the "chicken exit" just before boarding to bypass the coaster.
