Is there a ferry to Tybee Island?

While you can't catch a public access ferry or boat to Tybee directly from Hilton Head, you can travel to Savannah via ferry or water taxi. There are a handful of options that allow you to set sail and then dock at River Street, where all the fun begins.

This beach is huge, parking is $2.00 per hour 2 hour minimum. There can be sand fleas but I did not get a bite, one friend may have. The water was warm like a bath, clean and clear. Bath house could have had toilets washed, but otherwise it was basically a clean beach bathroom.
