Is there a standby line for Guardians of the Galaxy?

Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter the attraction. A standby queue is not available. Each Guest can request to enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours.

As of early 2026, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT has officially transitioned to a traditional standby line, ending the long-standing requirement for a virtual queue that defined its first few years of operation. This change, which began in early 2025, means you no longer need to wake up at 7:00 AM to join a digital boarding group through the My Disney Experience app. However, because this remains one of the most popular attractions in Walt Disney World, standby wait times can easily exceed 90 to 120 minutes during peak hours. For those looking to avoid the long wait, the ride is still available via Lightning Lane Single Pass (Individual Lightning Lane) as a separate purchase. To maximize your time, "rope dropping" during Early Theme Park Entry or jumping in line just before the park closes are the most effective strategies to experience the "Omnicoaster" with the shortest possible wait in the physical queue.
