Is there free parking at Six Flags Over Texas?

Information. At Six Flags, we charge for parking in all circumstances. All Members and most Season Pass holders receive parking as a part of their Membership or Season Pass purchase.

There is no "standard" free parking for daily guests at Six Flags Over Texas in 2026; general parking typically costs around $39 per vehicle, and preferred parking can exceed $55. However, there are two primary ways to avoid this fee. The most common method is through the Six Flags Season Pass program. Both the "Gold" and "Prestige" passes include Free General Parking for the entire season (the Prestige pass often includes Preferred parking). If you plan on visiting the park at least twice in 2026, the pass often pays for itself through the parking savings alone. The second way to find "free" parking is by staying at a partner hotel in the Arlington Entertainment District; many of these hotels offer free guest parking and provide a complimentary "Trolley" service to the park gates, allowing you to bypass the Six Flags parking tolls entirely. It is a grounded "pro-tip" to always check the Arlington Trolley schedule before you go, as this is the most reliable way to save $40 while enjoying the convenience of a hotel stay right next to the thrills.
