What happens if you miss your Rise of the Resistance boarding group?

You will be given a window of time to make your way over to the attraction and should have plenty of time to get there. The first time my family joined the Resistance on this adventure, we were blown away!

If you miss your called boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in 2026, you should immediately head to the attraction entrance or a blue "Guest Experience Team" umbrella. Disney’s official policy is that boarding groups are valid only for the one-hour window after they are called. However, cast members are often granted a degree of "magical flexibility" if you have a legitimate reason for the delay, such as being stuck on another ride that broke down, a dining reservation that ran long, or a sudden family emergency. They can scan your MagicBand or ticket to see if you were indeed on another attraction. If you simply "lost track of time," you are at the mercy of the cast member's discretion and the current crowd levels; on very busy days, they may strictly enforce the window and deny entry. It is a vital 2026 "pro-tip" to enable push notifications in the "My Disney Experience" app so you are alerted the moment your group is called. If you miss your window entirely and cannot be accommodated, your only other option is to purchase a "Lightning Lane Single Pass" if any remain available for the day.
