July and August are a fantastic time to be in Armenia and Georgia even if temperatures can take an upturn in Tbilisi and the surrounding lowland areas.

It's easy and I would say that most people would probably enjoy Tbilisi more than Yerevan. But Yerevan was (for us) a more cultural experience and we felt a deeper connection to the city. The best time to travel in Georgia The best period for going to Georgia is from May to October. The temperatures are pleasant, and the weather is generally sunny, whereas winter is much colder. You should chose to go in September/October if you want to see the grape harvest in Kakheti.

Ok I have been to both countries and without any bias I can say it depends on what youre looking for. If you want to see history and old ancient history or more into nature then I would say Armenia. If you want the big city feel with modern architecture then I would say Azerbaijan.

Personally, I recommend spending at least 10 to 14 days in Georgia. This will give you enough time to explore a few different regions of this wonderful country and really appreciate it from every angle. With that said, I fully understand that not everyone has that long to spend in Georgia.
