Genie+ is a paid add-on to the free Genie service that gives guests front-of-the-line access to high-traffic attractions and shows, like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. If you miss your Genie+ Lightning Lane reservation for an attraction, that's it for the day. You won't be able to make another one for that particular ride. Sometimes you'll be given a small grace period, but that's up to the discretion of the Cast Member.
