The Magic Key program provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks where you'll make memories visit after visit. Magic Key passes feature a variety of admission opportunities, pricing options, experiences, and savings on food, beverages and merchandise.

Is a Magic Key worth it? A Disneyland Magic Key is especially beneficial for a local guest, but can also be beneficial for the out-of-town visitor. When you tack on the discounts added to Genie Plus service, dining, merchandise, parking and hotel stays, it can lead to significant savings.

Disneyland Magic Key Tiers There are 4 tiers to the Magic Key program. The bottom tiers have more blocked-out dates and lesser value perks, but they also offer a more affordable entry price. The upper-level keys add things like parking and Photopass, and offer far fewer block-out dates, but at a much higher price.

Each individual Magic Key Pass is valid for only one guest, so if three guests would like to become Magic Key holders, then each guest would need to purchase their own individual Magic Key pass.

A Key to the World card is basically a plastic card meant to look like a plastic hotel key. They are totally FREE so there's no need to pay for them.

DCL cast members will issue every member of your party a KTTWC as you check in at the port. You will need it many times throughout your trip. EVERY time you enter or exit the ship, you'll be required to tap your KTTWC onto a reader; this applies to children as well as adults. The card also serves as your stateroom key.
