What buttons does Disney give out?

Walt Disney World Celebration Buttons You can ask for a complimentary button to wear during your visit. (They'll write your name on the Birthday Buttons.) These typically generate special attention from the Cast Members as well as other guests. The buttons are 3-inches round.

In 2026, Disney parks continue the beloved tradition of providing free celebration buttons to help guests commemorate special milestones. The most common buttons available at Guest Relations or most merchandise locations include "Happily Ever After" (for weddings/anniversaries), "I'm Celebrating:" (with a blank space for custom text like graduations or new jobs), "1st Visit!", and "Happy Birthday!". These buttons are iconic because they often trigger "special treatment" from Cast Members, who might offer a verbal "Happy Birthday" or occasionally a small surprise like a free cupcake. Additionally, for 2026, Disney has introduced limited-edition buttons for major events like the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland and various "Disneyland After Dark" themed nights. While the standard buttons are free, they are highly collectible and serve as a physical token of the "Disney Magic" that guests can wear throughout their trip to ensure their celebration is recognized by both staff and fellow travelers across the resort.
