What day is Universal Studios less busy?

Weekends are typically more crowded than weekdays. As far as weekdays go, Mondays and Fridays tend to be slightly more crowded at Universal Studios in Orlando than Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

In 2026, the least busy days to visit Universal Studios (both in Orlando and Hollywood) are generally Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Most "weekend travelers" visit from Friday through Monday, making mid-week the sweet spot for lower wait times. Additionally, the weeks immediately following major holidays—such as mid-January (after MLK Day) and September (after Labor Day)—are considered "low season" with significantly smaller crowds. Avoid school "Ski Weeks" in February and Spring Break in March/April. If you must visit during a busy month, mid-week is still your best bet. Checking a 2026 crowd calendar can help you pinpoint specific "Level 1" days where attendance is at its lowest, often coinciding with local school days.
