What days are busiest at Universal Studios Orlando?

As you can guess if Saturday and Monday tend to be the busiest, Tuesday tends to be the best day to visit Universal Studios Orlando. We also find Thursday to be one of the least busy days of the week at Universal Studios, with Sunday being a great weekend option.

The busiest days at Universal Studios Orlando typically coincide with weekends, major school holidays, and special event periods. Saturdays are consistently the most crowded day of the week as locals and tourists alike flock to the parks. During the fall, any night featuring Halloween Horror Nights causes a massive surge in attendance, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Seasonal peaks occur during the weeks of Christmas and New Year's, Spring Break (typically mid-March through April), and the Fourth of July. In 2026, the crowds have remained high due to the anticipation surrounding the "Epic Universe" expansion. If you are looking for lower wait times, mid-week days like Tuesday and Wednesday during the "shoulder seasons"—such as September (excluding horror night dates), late January, and early February—are generally your best bet. Always check a "Crowd Calendar" before your trip, as even a random Monday can become packed if it coincides with a holiday like Presidents' Day or Labor Day, making the use of Universal Express Passes almost essential for a stress-free experience.
