At most major airports, being a Gold member means you can bypass the line entirely. You simply check the "Gold Board" for your name and stall number, walk directly to your car, and drive away. The keys are already in the ignition or the car is unlocked via your digital key in the Hertz app. Furthermore, the "Ultimate Choice" feature allows you to choose any vehicle within your reserved class (or higher if you are Five Star or President's Circle) from a designated section. Membership is free, and it also includes benefits like a free additional driver (usually a spouse or domestic partner) and the ability to earn points toward free rental days, making it an essential tool for frequent travelers.
