What does green lane mean for Princess cruise?

The green lane offers the fastest embarkation for guests who had their medallions shipped and completed their travel checklists. They only need to have their travel documents inspected before boarding.

On a Princess Cruise in 2026, being in the "Green Lane" means you are "OceanReady" and have the fastest, most streamlined embarkation process possible. To qualify for the Green Lane, you must complete all the required documentation in the Princess MedallionClass app, including uploading your security photo, passport details, and credit card info, and you must have your Medallion device shipped to your home before the cruise (available for U.S. and Puerto Rico residents). When you arrive at the terminal, Green Lane passengers essentially bypass the traditional check-in counters. You simply have your travel documents scanned by a staff member and then walk straight onto the ship. If you do not have your Medallion shipped or haven't finished the app steps, you are placed in the Blue Lane, which requires you to wait in a short line to pick up your Medallion at the terminal. The Green Lane is designed to turn the "boarding process" into a "boarding experience" that takes only a few minutes.

Princess Cruises has “simplified” what it means to be in the Green, Blue or Accessibility Lane when guests get OceanReady in preparation for sailing. It centers around whether you have your Medallion shipped to your residence or not. Whatever lane, you will still enjoy easy embarkation, they have only made it better.
